Graduate with Merit Diploma of the “Nicolae Grigorescu” Fine Arts Institute of Bucharest, Painting Department, 1982; PhD in Visual Arts 2006; PhD Associate Professor at the Bucharest National University of Fine Arts, Painting Department.President of Bucharest Painting Branch of the Visual Artists’ Union of Romania, from 2004 to 2007.
Vicepresident of the Visual Artists’Union of Romania, from 2007 to 2009.Acting President of the Visual Artists’Union of Romania, from 2010 to 2012. the Visual Artists’ Union of Romania. President of the Visual Artists’Union of Romania, from 2012 to date. Acting President of the National Alliance of Creators Unions, 2011-2012. Director of “Art” Magazine, from 2010. Director of Victoria Art Center for Contemporary Cultural Production Bucharest.

Practiced artistic genres: painting, graphics, photography, object / installation, happenings and new media.
