REWILDING brings together six artists and a territory where nature becomes a space of memory, transformation and interdependence.

In the Făgăraș Mountains, where Grădina Ideilor is active, rewilding is already unfolding: the European bison has returned to its natural habitat, while species such as the asprete, dependent on the Vâlsan River ecosystem, remain critically vulnerable.

The exhibition does not seek to illustrate an ecological discourse. Instead, through painting, sculpture, installation and textile, the works explore relationships between animal and habitat, nest and tree, soil and vegetation, disappearance and return, memory and regeneration.
