Competitia Internationala de Ex Libris “Baroul Arad la 150 de ani” organizată de Baroul Arad, Romania în parteneriat cu Complexul Muzeal Arad, Filiala Arad a UAP din UAP România

Regulament

Documente de factură administrativă atestă înscrierea avocaților în registrele de evidență ale profesioniștilor stagiari și definitivi, începând cu anul 1875.

Pe lângă activitatea profesională, avocaţii arădeni au avut şi o multitudine de contribuţiuni de natură politică, legislativă, administrativă, socială şi culturală, aspecte care îi include în rândul personalităţilor cu rezultate extrem de importante, de factură internaţională, naţională şi locală, ceea ce i-a integrat, definitiv, în istoria publică.

1. Organizator: Baroul Arad, Romania

2. Parteneri: Complexul Muzeal Arad, Filiala Arad a UAP din Romania

3. Participanti: Concursul este deschis artistilor din intreaga lume, cu varsta de peste 16 ani.

4. Nu exista taxa de participare.

5. Termenul limita de trimitere al lucrarilor: 9 mai 2025 (data postei).

6. Selectia artistilor. Criteriile de selectie a artistilor vor fi completarea formularului de inscriere si respectarea criteriilor stipulate in prezentul regulament.

7. Tematica este libera, singura conditie impusa fiind integrarea in compozitie a textului: EX LIBRIS “BAROUL ARAD – 150 ANI”.

8. Numarul lucrarilor: Participantii pot trimite maximum 3 (trei) lucrari diferite create in 2025.

9. Tehnici acceptate: In competitie vor fi acceptate doar lucrari originale imprimate prin metode traditionale de gravura pe hartie. (acvaforte, acvatinta, ac sec, mezzotinta, xilogravura, linogravura, litografie etc.). Nu vor fi acceptate in concurs lucrarile create prin tehnici fotografice, digitale CGD sau desen.

10. Dimensiuni: Imaginea (partea gravata) a lucrarii nu trebuie sa depaseasca 180×180 mm. Dimensiunea maxima a hartiei (suportul) va fi 290 x 210 mm (A4).

11. Fiecare imagine trebuie sa contina textul EX LIBRIS “BAROUL ARAD – 150 ANI” si (in partea inferioara) cu creionul informatiile; abrevierea E/A, E/P, 1/…, tehnica sau simbolul international al acesteia, anul si semnatura artistului.

12. Informatii: Fiecare lucrare trebuie sa contina pe spate urmatoarele informatii: numele si prenumele autorului, orasul si tara, titlul lucrarii, tehnica folosita, dimensiuni, anul in care aceasta a fost creata.

13. Doar lucrarile ce contin cerintele de mai sus vor putea intra in concurs.

14. Lucrarile trebuie trimise catre organizatori fara sticla, rama sau passe-partout impreuna cu fisa de participare, prin posta sau serviciul de curierat. Lucrarile trebuie trimise intr-un ambalaj solid si impermeabil, cu mentiunea MATERIALE TIPARITE “FARA VALOARE COMERCIALA” in cel mai sigur mod pentru a evita orice fel de deteriorare.

15. Organizatorii nu isi asuma nicio responsabilitate survenita in timpul transportului.

17. Juriul competitiei compus din cinci membrii va selecta castigatorii premiilor si lucrarile care vor fi expuse in expozitie.

18. Expozitia competitiei EX LIBRIS “BAROUL ARAD – 150 ANI” va avea loc in perioada 20 iunie – 20 iulie 2025 la Complexul Muzeal Arad.

19. Catalog. Cu acest prilej va fi editat si tiparit un catalog al evenimentului. Artistii selectati vor primi gratuit o copie a acestuia.

20. Premii. La aceasta competitive vor exista 3 premii oferit de Baroul Arad, Romania, respectiv:

Premiul I – 700 €

Premiul II- 500 €

Premiul III – 300 €

21. Drepturi: Lucrarile trimise nu vor fi returnate, indiferent daca acestea sunt sau nu admise in concurs si vor ramane proprietatea colectiei de grafica a Baroului Arad. Organizatorul isi rezerva dreptul de a reproduce si expune orice lucrare acceptata in scopuri promotionale (cataloage, afise, etc. fara scop commercial).

22. Acceptarea regulamentului: participantii au obligatia de a completa, semna şi trimite formularul de inscriere împreună cu lucrările.

International Ex Libris Competition „Arad Bar Association at 150 years” 2025

Rules:

Administrative documents attest that lawyers have been entered in the registers of trainee and permanent professionals since 1875.

In addition to their professional activity, the lawyers from Arad have also had a multitude of political, legislative, administrative, social and cultural contributions, aspects that include them among the personalities with extremely important results, of international, national and local nature, which has integrated them, definitively, in public history.

1. Organizer: Arad Bar Association, Romania

2. Partners: Arad Museum Complex, Arad Branch of UAP from Romania

3. Participants: The competition is open to artists from all over the world, over 16 years of age.

4. There is no participation fee.

5. Submission deadline: May 9, 2025 (postmark date).

6. Artists selection. The criteria for the selection of the artists will be the completion of the application form and the fulfillment of the criteria stipulated in these rules.

7. The theme is free, the only requirement being the integration in the composition of the text: EX LIBRIS „BAROUL ARAD – 150 ANI”.

8. Number of works: Participants may submit a maximum of 3 (three) different works created in 2025.

9. Accepted techniques: In the competition will be accepted only original works printed by traditional printmaking methods (etching, aquatint, dry point, mezzotint, woodcut, linocut, lithography, etc.). Works created by photographic, digital CGD or drawing techniques will not be accepted in the competition.

10. Dimensions: the image (engraved part) of the work must not exceed 180×180 mm. The maximum size of the paper (support) will be 290 x 210 mm (A4).

11. Each image must contain the text EX LIBRIS „BAROUL ARAD – 150 ANI” and (at the bottom) in pencil the following information; the abbreviation E/A, E/P, 1/…, the technique or its international symbol, the year and the artist’s signature.

12. Information: Each work must contain the following information on the back: author’s name and surname, city and country, title of the work, technique used, dimensions, year it was created.

13. Only works containing the above requirements will be accepted.

14. Entries must be sent to the organizers without glass, frame or passe-partout together with the entry form, by post or courier service. Entries must be sent in a sturdy and waterproof packaging, marked „NO COMMERCIAL VALUE” in the safest way to avoid any damage.

15. The organizers do not assume any responsibility during transport.

17. The jury of the competition composed of five members will select the winners of the prizes and the works that will be exhibited in the exhibition.

18. The exhibition of the EX LIBRIS competition „BAROUL ARAD – 150 YEARS” will take place from June 20 to July 20, 2025 at the Arad Museum Complex.

19. The catalog. On this occasion a catalog of the event will be published and printed. Selected artists will receive a free copy.

20. The Prizes. At this competition there will be 3 prizes offered by the Arad Bar, Romania, respectively:

First Prize – 700 €

Second Prize – 500 €

Third Prize – 300 €

21. Rights: The submitted works will not be returned, whether they are admitted or not in the competition and will remain the property of the graphic collection of the Arad Bar Association. The organizer reseves the right to reproduce and exhibit any accepted artwork for promotional purposes (catalogues, posters, etc. without any commercial purpose).

22. Acceptance of the rules: participants are required to fill in, sign and send the entry form together with their works.
