Format într-o perioadă, când sculptura noastră îşi dobândise un prestigiu meritat, chiar şi pe plan internaţional, am reuşit să asimilez cele mai noi idei artistice, mulţumită unor dascăli, care s-au dovedit buni profesionişti şi au ştiut să îndrume generaţii de studenţi către cunoştinţele de bază legate de profesie şi, totodată, să deschidă noi orizonturi asupra viziunilor contemporane, în privinţa gândirii plastice în general. Abordând tehnici şi materiale diverse, încercând compoziţii figurative, dar şi apropieri de formule stilistice, derivând din arta nonfigurativă.

Educated in a time when our sculpture had gained a deserved prestige, even internationally, we were able to assimilate the latest creative ideas, thanks to teachers who have proved highly professional and knew how to guide generations of students to the knowledge base of the profession and also to open up new horizons visions of contemporary thinking about arts in general. Addressing various techniques and materials, trying figurative compositions, but also aproaching stylistic formulations, derived from non-figurative art.
