Fine artist, painter and especially sculptor, Tiberiu Balazs has also flirted with graphics for illustrating books. His paintings are, in general, the art of his soul.
Mostly oil paints on canvas, his paintings have a “given theme” ( tree, house, flowers, compositions) worked out with much fantasy ,obtaining a wide diversity of variations and aspects. What strikes us in his paintings is their somehow sculptural aspect, obtained by using the paint on the canvas directly from the tube.
The chromatic vividness is doubled by shape, such a vague outline, decomposed, destined to create landscapes and compositions with frame-values, fugitive snapshots that cling to your retina after the image has been filtered by the passing of time or analytic memory.
Like any fine artist , over-particular with his work, Tiberiu Balazs has been present both with individual and group exhibitions in our country and abroad, being awarded with numerous prizes.
