Plecand de la dictonul antic scris pe frontispiciul templului lui Appolon, „Cunoaste-te pe tine insuti”, fundamentul tuturor intelepciunilor lumii, si cel mai dificil lucru pe care-l putem face, pentru ca mereu avem tendinta ori a ne subestima ori supraestima pe noi insine, am incercat in aceasta lucrare sa ma autodefinesc.
Fiecare om are si parti bune si parti rele. Daca nu reusesti sa invingi monstrul din interior trebuie macar sa incerci sa-l imblanzesti.
Intr-un colt din atelierul meu am asezat intr-un anume fel cateva obiecte personale: un craniu de berbec si unul de caine gasite intr-o padure. Palaria, pulovarul si camasa stau ca si cum corpul meu ar fi ramas acolo…Initial am vrut sa fie o simpla natura statica…dar asa mi-a iesit…gandurile mele au trecut putin dincolo de obiecte…Si toate sunt reale, nu este alceva decat un colt din propriul meu atelier…cand sunt in lumea mea…de vis…cand ma trezesc poate dispare…daca adorm din nou, totul inverzeste…Roua din dimineata ultimilor trairi imi da o noua energie si realizez astfel ca am supravietuit…

Starting from the ancient dictum Know yourself, the foundation of all world wisdoms, the most difficult thing, because we tend always to underestimate us or overestimate us. Everyone has good parts and bad parts. If we can not get rid of the our inside monster, we least try to tame it. In this artwork , Raul and Faun, I was defined myself. In the corner of my studio I sat a few personal objects in a certain way. A ram’s skull and a dog skull found in forest, my hat, shirt and blazer laid them as my body would be in them … I initially wished to be an ordinary still life … but it came to me … My thoughts went a little beyond the objects … And all are real, is nothing but a corner of my own studio … so I live in my world … The dream may disappear …. when I wake up … if nap … and get less … in sleep … all flourish. Morning dew … past experiences gives me a new energy and thereby realize that I survived …
