„Lumea lui Dorel Petrehuș, ca și oamenii, este etern bandajată în fașii distincte de culoare, prin care evanescența liniilor este înlocuită printr-o inconsistență aproape dureroasă. Corpurile se descărnează lent și devin abia niște siluete eterice, astfel încât drama adevărată a naturii umane se desfășoară înăluntrul bandajelor ce par a fi, de fapt, o crustă a existenței reale. […] Dorel Petrehuș câștigă astfel un pariu complicat, atât cu culoarea, cât și cu problematica esențială a naturii omenești: drama interioară.”

” Dorel Petrehus’s world, like people, is eternally bandaged in distinct color strips, on which the evanescent of the lines is replaced by an almost painful inconsistency. The bodies are slowly remaining without flesh and they are becoming only some ethereal silhouettes, such that the human nature real drama takes place inside of the bandages as they seem, in fact, a crust of real existence. […] Dorel Petrehus wins in this way a complicated bet, in the same time with the color and with the essential issues of the human nature: the inner drama’’.
