Pictura, spunea Delacroix, nu este decât o punte aruncată între spiritul pictorului și cel al privitorului, în fond comunicarea se realizează datorită unei legături de ordin psihic, ce are ca bază opera de artă ce poartă amprenta psihicului creatorului și un privitor căruia îi trezeşte anumite sentimente, emoţii, trăiri.
Din acest punct de vedere, actul creator ca experienţă psihologică poate fi abordat sub două aspecte: raportat la relaţia artistului cu sine însuşi și cel privind coeziunea psihică dintre artist prin opera sa și privitor sau receptor.
Între două lumi diferite, cea interioară şi cea înconjurătoare, uneori opuse, pictura autentică facilitează ieşirea spre ceilalţi, spre lume, prin zugrăvirea, până la urmă, a psihicului pictorului prin orice mijloace plastice de realizare a operei: culoare, forme, motive, pensulaţie, interpretare, căutare, compoziţie.
Căci, ce este psihicul, dacă nu o formă specifică de reflectare a realităţii sau structură sufletească proprie unui individ, aşa cum defineşte termenul dicţionarul explicativ uzual?!
Ce este pictura?! Într-un Acum și Aici, în paralel cu universul ştiut și văzut, a cărui complexitate nu o putem cuprinde, se frământă alte universuri, interioare, mai adânci și mai neştiute, căci acestea din urmă o reflectă și pe prima.
Un dans al anotimpurilor, ele se amestecă şi păşesc în afară într-o explozie de Altceva, de Recreat, într-un vals al altor timpuri şi măsuri.
Un om, scrie Van Gogh, poartă în sufletul lui un foc imens şi nimeni nu vine niciodată să se încălzească la el, iar trecătorii nu desluşesc decât un firicel de fum, sus la gura hornului.

Painting, Delacroix said, is only a bridge between the painter and the viewer’s spirit, in fact communication is achieved through a psychological link, which is based on the artwork that bears the imprint of the creator’s mind and the viewer who brings back certain feelings.
From this point of view, the act of artistic creation as a psychological experience can be approached from two perspectives: in relation to the artist himself and the psychological cohesion between the artist and the viewer through his work.
Between the two worlds, the inner and the surrounding one, sometimes opposite, authentic painting facilitates coming out towards the others, towards the world and by doing that the artist makes use of the specific means to achieve work: colours, shapes, patterns, brushing, interpretation, search, composition.
For what is the mind if not a specific form or structure to reflect the reality of an individual’s own mind, as the dictionary definition reads?!
What is painting?! It is Here and Now, along with the known and seen world, whose complexity we are not able to overwhelm, inner universes are kneaded, more deep and ever more unknown, because the latter one reflects the first.
A dance of the seasons, they itermingle and walk out into an explosion of something Different, of Recreation, in a waltz of other times and measures.
One man, Van Gogh said, bears in his soul a huge fire and no one ever comes near it to get warm, and the passengers do not see it for itself, but as a plume of smoke above the chimney top.
