Pictura reprezinta, pentru mine, universul de taina al confortului spiritual al bucuriei pe care mi-o induce culoarea. In fata sevaletului, simt provocarea unei lumi care vibreaza dincolo de panza: precum in alcatuirea unui basm, cu multitudinea posibilitatilor de desfasurare – de la fapte la fictiune, ori de la fitiune la fapte – pictura este acel mijloc magic care te implica in actiune. Imi place sa intru in joc, dar si sa ma joc in acelasi timp. Singura. Nu in sensul de singuratate, ci in sensul unui privilegiu; am aflat, prin experienta proprie, ca nimeni nu te poate intelege pe deplin. Nici chiar tu insuti, adesea. Incat, sa fii actant si actor in propriul spectacol, ce satisfactie! Iti esti propriul critic. Constat ca lucrarile mele, de pana acum, oscileaza intre figurativ si abstract. „A fi sau a nu fi”. Daca esti atent, iti dai seama ca, uneori, crezand ca faci ceva, de fapt, nu faci nimic. Si viceversa.

Painting is, to me, the secret oasis of a spiritual comfort, of the joy induced by the colour. I feel, in front of the easel, the challange of a vibrating world beyond the canvas. Very much like in the elabotation of a fairytale, in the multiple possibilities of development – from facts to fiction, or from fiction to facts – painting is a magic way that involves you in yhe story. I like to perform in it, and I like to play at the same time. Alone It is not about loneliness, it is a privilege: I discovered, from personal experience, that no one can fully and thoroughly understand you. Not even yourself. So, becoming the actant and the spectator in your own show, what a satisfaction! You are your own critic.. I see that, so far, my works have balanced between figurative and abstract. „To be or not to be”. If you pay attention, you realize that, sometimes, making something is actually to make nothing, and vice versa.
