Proiectul expoziţional Re-connect propune atât seria omonimă, în lucru încă din 2019,  cât și câteva lucrări din serii precedente de Conexiuni, care urmăresc și explicitează traseul către o formulă vizuală care s-a definit în aproape două decenii.

Expoziţia include, alături de lucrări care nu au mai fost expuse până în prezent, câteva repere ale traseului dinspre figurativ și decorativ către abstracţie și o geometrie spaţială organizatoare și revenirea, în ultimii ani, către tensiunea picturală și cromatică ce tinde să anuleze rigoarea structurii modulare devenită emblematică pentru demersul său artistic.

Re-connect este o condensare a unui proiect artistic care a evoluat în strânsă legătură cu parcursul existenţial și anunţă o nouă etapă a creaţiei artistei Beti Vervega – o explorare a libertăţii de expresie oferită de limbajul pictural.

Expoziţia poate fi vizitată la Galeria The Institute in incinta Combinatului Fondului Plastic, între orele 12.00 – 18.00 de luni până vineri, respective 11.00 – 19.00 în zile de weekend, în perioada 22 noiembrie – 15 decembrie 2023.

The exhibition project Re-connect proposes both the homonymous series, which has been in progress since 2019, as well as several works from previous series of Connections, which follow and explain the path towards a visual formula that has been defined over almost two decades.

The exhibition includes, alongside works that have not been previously exhibited, some landmarks in the journey from figurative and decorative towards abstraction and spatial organizing geometry, and the return, in recent years, to the painterly and chromatic tension that tends to annul the rigor of the modular structure that has become emblematic of her artistic endeavor.

Re-connect is a condensation of an artistic project that has evolved closely with the existential journey and heralds a new stage in the artist Beti Vervega’s creative exploration of the freedom of expression offered by the language of painting.

The exhibition can be visited at The Institute Gallery within the Plastic Fund Compound, between the hours of 12:00 – 18:00 from Monday to Friday, and 11:00 – 19:00 on weekends, from November 22nd to December 15th, 2023.
