The 2025 year-end edition of SAT presents contemporary artists exploring moments of wandering and transition, those liminal spaces where meaning dissolves and slowly reconvenes. The works examine the tension between obscurity and emerging clarity, tracing interior landscapes in which the act of searching becomes a means of orientation.

“In dark woods, a gate,” situates itself in this in-between territory, where disorientation gives way to the first glimmers of insight. The works reflects on the thresholds that arise when familiar coordinates vanish, moments that invite a renewed sense of self. Taking place at year’s end, it considers the interval between seeking and recognition, between shadow and the intuition of form, exploring a space where perception shifts and understanding begins to crystallize.

SAT – Smallest Art Fair in Town builds its identity on key principles that respond to the current dynamics of the contemporary art market: collaboration, accessibility, and support for sustainable growth. In contrast to conventional fair formats, SAT fosters a shared exhibition space that encourages direct dialogue between galleries, artists, and the public. With free access for both participants and visitors, it reaches a broad audience, from established collectors to newcomers, nurturing a new generation of supporters of contemporary art.
