„La fiecare dintre lucrări poate fi citit, pe de o parte, sensul comun al materialităţii obiectului artistic și al realității empirice al acestuia, dar şi pe de altă parte al ” numinosul „acelei lumi de coline şi stoguri, de peisaje citadine şi construcţii cruciforme.
,,Firul vrăjit’’pentru că aşa se cheamă expoziţia doamnei Angela Roman Popescu, pune în operă esența imnică a făuritorului , aşa încât vraja firului să ţeasă din lâna plebee şi comună un sens care îi permite artistei să se pună la „diapazonul” fiinţei spre a-i suprinde tonul. Căutarea sensului devine, in fiecare suprafaţă decorativă, un semn ca te adresezi in fiecare clipa unei zile in care va aparea cineva mai incolţit decat tine pentru a duce mai departe acel gând, dar si pentru a da mărturia in legatura cu miracolul fiecarui clipe.”

„In each of the works it can be discerned on one side the common sense of the materiality of the artistic object and of its empiric reality and on the other side the „nouminousness” of that horizon of hills, citadine landscapes and crosslike constructions.
The Bewitched Thread, because that is the name of Angela Roman Popescu’s exposition, transposes in the work of art the imnic essence of the maker so that the spell of the thread weaves with the common and plebean wool a meaning that allows the artsit to become an authentic „tunning fork” of the Being in order to catch its tone. The search of the meaning becomes, in each decorative surface, a sign that you are adressing in each moment to a day in which there will come out somebody more blossomed than yourself that will carry on that thought and that will realize the testimony of the miracle of each moment.”
