Peisajul l-am putea defini ca o parte din natură care formează un ansamblu artistic şi este prins dintr-o singură privire, în esenţă o percepţie subiectivă a privitorului. Pentru a avea impact asupra privitorului, nu trebuie să reprezinte numai natura aşa cum este ea în realitate, ci trebuie să fie rezultatul unei compoziţii, astfel făcând apel şi la sensibilitaea privitorului.
Incerc să îmi îndrept privirea către detalii, către secţiuni din peisaj, caut tipare, texturi, linii care converg într-un punct sau sunt paralele, caut elemente care rup armonia unei texturi şi care ies în evidenţă sau elemente care se opun prin formă, culoare şi capacitatea de a reflecta lumina.
Posibilităţile de a găsi aşa ceva în natură sunt practic nelimitate. Arta abstractă nu caută să reprezinte elementele realității obiective, iar imaginea-reflex nu corespunde doar determinaţiilor realiste a ceea ce avem obiceiul să vedem, ea poate fi o anticipare a ceea ce se află dincolo de limitele acestei lumi.

We could define the landscape as being a part of nature which makes up an artistic ensamble and can be captured by a single glance, in essence a subjective perception of the viewer. In order to have an impact on the viewer, it doesn’t just need to represent nature as it is in reality, but it must also be the result of a composition, thus appealing to his sensibility.
I try to focus my attention on the details, on different sections of the landscape, I look for patterns, textures, lines that converge or are parallel, I look for elements that break up the harmony of a texture and which stand out or elements that oppose each other in form, color, or capacity to reflect light.
The possibilities of finding this in nature are practically unlimited. Abstract art does not seek to represent the elements of objective reality and the reflected image does not simply correspond the realistic determination of what we are used to seeing, it can also be an anticipation of what is beyond the limits of this world.
