“Bucuria naşterii formei tridimensionale în mâinile creatorului său nu se poate limita la un singur material, un singur procedeu, o singură trăire. Gândul germinează, forma ia naştere plăpândă, tremătoare. Mâinile o îndrumă, o plămădesc din suflet şi materie, o transformă din masă inertă în însuşi chintesenţa trăirilor făuritorului său. Acesta caută mereu căi de a conferi materiei brute intimitatea gândurilor sale. El modelează, ciopleşte, adaugă, toarnă, frământă, cizelează, făureşte cu tandreţe şi nerăbdare sculptura ce va oglindi pe vecie bucuria naşterii sale.
Asemeni celorlalţi înrobiţi de exaltarea luptei cu materia, caut mereu în operele mele fiorul noului, provocarea unui nou material, posibilitatea incitantă a depăşirii limitelor sale. Căutând a-l îngenunchia scopurilor tale, uneori frumuseţea lui este cea care te înlănţuie pe tine, cucerindu-te pe vecie şi ghidându-te în dorinţa infailibilă de a exista dincolo de constrângerile propriului trup uman.
Bucurie, joc, exaltare, luptă, trăire, experimentare, împlinire, artă – iată suma universului meu creativ, iată-mă pe mine în operele mele şi în ochii celor ce le privesc.”

“The joy of shaping a three-dimensional form from the hands of its creator cannot be limited to a single material, a singular technique or experience. The thought germinates in the mind of the artist and the form comes into existence frail and shy. Nonetheless, his hands guide her, shaping her from raw matter and his very own soul, and thus transforming it into the sum of his experiences. He is relentlessly searching for ways of converting his most intimate thoughts into matter. He carves, models, adds, casts, kneads, polish, tenderly creating the sculpture that will forever reflect the joy of its own birth.
Enslaved, like many others, by the trill of engaging the matter, I continuously seek to challenge the new, by the means of experimenting with a new material and exploring the possibilities of contesting his physical limitations. In the attempt to kneel it to your purposes sometimes its beauty stuns you, enchanting you forever and guiding you in the infallible desire of existing beyond our mortal being.
Joy, play, excitement, fight, experience, experiment, fulfillment, art – this is the sum of my creative universe, this is me – in my works and in the eyes of those looking upon them.”
