Prezentare Demers Artistic

The purpose of Contemporary sculpture –junctions with architecture and Land-Art (A. Șerban ed. Brumar, Tm, 2013, preface C. R. Velescu) is to investigate a new phenomenon in the field of visual arts, namely the juxtaposition of these three areas and the blurring of the borders that set them apart. Completing this investigation demands deep research into the founding elements of the three fields and a historical approach of their interferences. In order to have a complete perspective on the osmosis found along their bordering lines, we followed the relation between sculpture and architecture and the relation between sculpture and Land-Art. The issues raised by Sculpture as a place during its historical development is founded on the research of the sculptors and architects that explored the phenomenon at the beginning of the 20th century. Furthermore, the sculpture symposium has been, and continues to be, an important link between these elements. „Ludo quipe et ego symbolis sed ita ludo, ut me ludere non oblivislar”
