Prezentare Demers Artistic

Am absolvit Institutul de Arte Plastice “Nicolae Grigorescu” Bucureşti în anul 1979 la clasa profesorilor Traian Brădean şi Rodica Lazăr.
Am învăţat să gândesc şi să pictez de la profesorii mei şi de la mediul înconjurător, m-au influenţat pictorii români Grigorescu, Andreescu, Luchian, dar şi întreaga pleiadă de pictori impresionişti Monet, Sisley, Cézanne.
Despre pictura mea pot să spun că se leagă de variaţiile de lumină, de succesiunea anotimpurilor, de natură în general precum şi de realitatea atelierului. Îmi place foarte mult să lucrez în aer liber.
Prefer tehnica acuarelei şi a uleiului pentru că simt că mă exprim cel mai bine în felul acesta., de aceea nici nu am prea încercat tehnici noi.
Iubesc marea, peisajele cu multă lumină, răsăriturile şi apusurile de soare sau peisajele pitoreşti cu străduţe înguste, aşezările de mult uitate, pline de mister.

I graduated the „Nicolae Grigorescu” Fine Art Institute in Bucharest in 1979 in the group of the professors Traian Brădean and Rodica Lazăr.
I learnt to think and to espress myself artistically from my teachers and professors and by observing the environment. The works of the Romanian painters Grigorescu, Andreescu, Luchian but also those of Monet, Sisley, Cézanne along with the whole Impressionist school influenced me the most.
As far as my works are concerned I get my inspiration from the changes of light, as well as from the alternation of seasons. Nature generally plays a great part in my artistic work; so does the reality of my studio. I enjoy very much working in the open air.
I prefer the watercolour and the oil techniques because I feel that I can express myself better through them that’s the reason why I haven’t tried other tecniques.
I love the sea, the landscapes merged into light, the sunrises and the sunsets or the picturesque views with narrow streets, long forgotten places, surrounded by mystery.
