Când privim seriile figurative apartinand lui Radu Tikanete, ale cărui solutii conceptuale și formale, acoperă zeci de ani, am vedea cum reprezentarea corpului uman se dezvolta de la exemple, informatii,si sugestii luate de la structurile europene vechi,pana la cele profund abstracte generate de abordarea noua vitala . Fragmentarea care a urmat poate fi interpretata ca expresia matură a relației dinamice dintre forma ,, deschisa „și,, închisa”, în arta modernă. Aceasta este o extrem de individuala ,, frazare „a spațiului ca un receptacul pentru tot ceea ce este uman, incluzand si opera de artă . Putem merge dincolo de această interpretare, efectuind o acceptare a conceptului post-modern de,, corpul în bucăți „, în sensul reflecțiilor artistice deconstructiviste.

When I look at Radu Tikanete ‘s figuratives series, whose conceptual and formal becoming covers decades , I see how the representation of the human body developed from examples informed by suggestions taken from ancient European structures , to the deeply abstracted ones generated by the new vital approach . The ensuing fragmentation may be interpreted as the mature expression of the dynamic relation between ,,open “ and ,,closed “ form in modern art . This is a highly individual ,,phrasing “ of space as a receptacle for all that is humane , the work of art included . We can go beyond this interpretation , facing an acceptance at the post –modern concept of ,,body in pieces “ in the sense of deconstructivist artistic reflections .
